C&H Technologies, Inc.
C&H Technologies is a growing company in the world of automated electronic testing equipment. C&H came to us with a site that desperately needed some help. The functionality of the site was adequate but the interface was badly in need of a facelift. They needed a website that would show the same professionalism as the quality of their instruments and custom test systems. The C&H site is a brochure site at this point but they have a diverse history and their site needed to show the true scope of their capabilities. This is what their site used to look like. We actually served it simultaneously with the new site as an alternative for people coming to the site with older, less capable browsers. At this point it is rare to see activity on this portion of the site so we will be removing it soon. As you can see in the screenshot it lacks much visual appeal. This version of the site uses frames; frames are like having separate windows in your browser(usually two or three). The menus that exist in one frame never change and the other windows change as you select the pages you want to look at. Frames were a nice concept at one time but they create several disadvantages to potential customers who use search engines to find your page. Our final product for C&H was a site that made all of the companyÕs info easily accessible from any page in the site. Aside from the functionality improvements we also gave their web site a more professional, up to date look thereby dramatically improving the image presented. People frequently become acquainted with a company for the first time on the Internet, so that first impression matters a lot. Though we cannot honestly take all the credit for this; C&H Technologies has seen a 30-40% increase in their web site traffic. C&H has also been getting calls from potential customers that they had never done business with before. In other words they have been picking up many totally new customers so we think that our efforts produced positive results for C&H Technologies, Inc.
